We find the fault before we fix anything.

Electrical troubleshooting and repair for homes, offices, shops and plants in Riverside and the Inland Empire.

Garage wall with a new outlet and control box mounted during a service call
Garage service call, from our own jobs

Most electrical problems show up somewhere other than where they start. An outlet stops working because a GFCI two rooms away tripped. Lights flicker because a connection in the panel is loose. A breaker trips because something on the far end of the circuit is failing. Swapping the part you can see does not fix that.

We trace it. We test the circuit, find the actual cause, explain it to you in plain terms, and then repair it. Customers mention that part a lot in their reviews: Ruben and the team explain what is wrong and why the fix is needed before they start.

What the job includes

  • Breakers that trip, and breakers that will not reset
  • Dead outlets and switches
  • Flickering or dimming lights
  • Burnt or damaged wiring and short circuits
  • GFCI and AFCI protection installed or repaired
  • Outdoor outlets, ceiling fans and new circuits
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
  • Code corrections after an inspection

Signs it's time to call

  • An outlet or switch is warm, discolored or crackles
  • The same breaker trips again and again
  • Lights dim when a big appliance starts
  • You get a tingle from an appliance or a fixture
  • A home inspection came back with electrical items to fix

What it costs

A repair is priced once we know what is wrong, and you hear the price before the repair starts. If the fault turns out to be bigger than it looked, we stop and tell you before doing more.

From a customer

Questions about this job.

What people ask us about troubleshooting and repairs.

Or call (951) 545-8822

The breaker is doing its job, so the trip itself is not the danger. The cause might be. Reset it once with things unplugged. If it trips again with nothing on the circuit, leave it off and call (951) 545-8822.

Usually a GFCI outlet somewhere upstream has tripped, often in a bathroom, the garage or outside. Press the reset buttons. If that does not bring it back, there is likely a loose or broken connection and we should look at it.

Yes. We troubleshoot offices, retail, warehouses and plants, including equipment circuits and motor controls.
