A panel sized for what you run today.
Panel replacements, service upgrades and sub-panels for homes and businesses in Riverside and the Inland Empire.

Plenty of Inland Empire homes still run on the panel they were built with. Since then the house has picked up central air, a pool pump, a second fridge in the garage and maybe a car charger. When that is all on an old panel or a 100 amp service, breakers trip in July, and anything new you want to add has nowhere to go.
We start by working out what the house actually draws. Sometimes the answer is a new panel. Sometimes it is a bigger service, and sometimes it is a sub-panel in the garage or two dedicated circuits. When the service has to change, we pull the permit, work with the utility on the disconnect and reconnect, and stay on it until the inspector signs off.
What the job includes
- Panel replacement with new breakers, labeled circuit by circuit
- Service upgrades, commonly 100 amp to 200 amp
- Sub-panels for garages, shops, additions and ADUs
- Circuit breaker repair and replacement
- Whole-house surge protection at the panel
- Generator interlock kits and transfer switches
- Dedicated circuits for AC, ranges, spas and chargers
- Permit, inspection and utility coordination
Signs it's time to call
- Breakers trip when the AC and the dryer run together
- The panel is warm, buzzes, or smells of hot plastic
- There are no open slots left for a new circuit
- Rust or water marks inside the panel or the meter can
- A home inspector or your insurer has flagged the panel
What it costs
We do not post a price range for panels, because the number depends on what we find: the size of the service, how far the panel is from the meter, whether the meter can has to change, how many circuits move over, and what the inspector will want brought up to code. We look at it and give you one price before we start.

Questions about this job.
What people ask us about panel upgrades and service changes.
Or call (951) 545-8822The swap itself is usually a day, with the power off for part of it. A service upgrade also needs the utility to disconnect and reconnect, plus the inspection, so we give you the whole schedule up front and tell you which hours you will be without power.
Yes. A panel change or service upgrade needs an electrical permit from your city and an inspection afterwards. We pull it and meet the inspector. Unpermitted panel work tends to surface when you sell the house.
Yes. An interlock kit lets a portable generator feed your panel safely without back-feeding the utility lines. For bigger setups we install a transfer switch. Call (951) 545-8822 and we will tell you which fits your panel.
